ABSTRACT

The theory, methodology and practice of the labor crisis do not have the necessary modern developments. There is only a general idea of labor. The purpose of the article is to study labor as such, its crisis and the possibility of safely overcoming the latter. The object of the study is a set of working, labor collectives of the main link of the economy, as a rule, that part of it that is economically untenable. The subject of the work is the system of social and labor relations between the subjects of the method of labor regarding the creation and sale of goods. Its methodological base includes theoretical provisions explaining the functioning of labor itself, its components that are undergoing a crisis at the stages of their life implementation. The main sources of the labor crisis – the growing contradictions in the labor system and their ignoring – are considered using the methods of scientific abstraction, logical and historical, causal and dialectical methods. Among the new results obtained is the conclusion that the system of social labor covers: expedient activity, or the work itself; the labor process; production (socio-economic) relations; the content and nature of labor. The highlighted two sides of the labor crisis are also new – destructive and creative, the way of labor with its labor forces and labor, socio-economic relations, as well as generalized conditions for their manifestation during the safe overcoming of the labor crisis, a component of the latter in Russia. A new idea is given about the change of labor that accompanies the process of safely overcoming its crisis, about the movement of the functions of workers, both remaining in the process of labor, subjected to a crisis, and displaced from it. The theoretical and practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the presented understanding of the labor crisis and its safe overcoming can be useful both to organizations seeking to adjust their strategies, programs aimed at progressive development, and to state bodies of different levels in the implementation of anti-crisis economic policy, as well as to higher educational institutions of the country.
